The introduction states the following:
This guide teaches you how to configure the runtime for using push notifications in native apps
It is unclear whether this step also accounts for PWA or not.

The developers and I are working now to clarify which things are needed for PWA/native in notifications. I will resolve this issue when we commit our changes.
