Request: Editable and addable nodes

Would love to see a modification feature to have a node tool that allows the drawer to manipulate existing shapes. clicking and dragging a node in the center of one side of a square to create a pentagon, for example. Or "The long hallway you drew actually has an alcove on the west side." And the mapper can grab nodes to break lines and add more geometry to the shape and form that alcove.
