Just to make sure I understand correctly, you mean to support floating windows on vim GUI? |
Actually not. NeoVim calls this feature floating windows and in Vim they are named popups. Both work in TUI mode (for Vim I assume that). |
Oh I see. Having undotree showing in a popup rather than a side panel does make sense in some cases. Maybe I should consider implement it someday. Thanks for the great suggestion! |
+1 on this feature request from me too. More specifically, I'd want to keep the docked window panes for the undotree history and diff window. I just want an option to make the keymap help show in a Neovim-style floating window (or whatever it's called on Vim (popup?). As it is now, the text is cropped off. |
