When i open my notes I usually want to view it in its rendered form, and I find it slightly annoying to have to click on the eye icon everytime.

Would've done a pull request but I don't know any purescript. Maybe I'll do it on the ts branch

About the suggestion, not sure if there isn't an equal number of people who'd have the preference the exact other way around? We could of course make it a preference/setting, but so far we don't even have a preference file yet (but there's a TODO ;-))

btw. you can also hit CMD/CTRL-2 on your keyboard to quickly switch views (as can be seen in the View menu)... so perhaps that's good enough for now?

Opening in preview mode would also be my preference. That is Panwriter's unique selling point compared to more famous text editors.

@MatthewForrester thanks for the feedback! Could you elaborate what's better in PanWriter's preview compared to more famous editors? which editors? you mean compared to editors that are not specifically optimized for markdown like Vim/Emacs/VSCode?
