How to

  • We already have a database back up
  • the need of legal is to add IPs related to each transfer.
  • ensure that the records keeping is at least 24 months long

@peterjah this is a task that doesn't belong to any mission but it's a legal request. It's not urgent if we keep the records history as you confirmed before. But IPs could be added in the near future.

This one needs technical conception. For now, only frontend can get client Ip. its mean frontend should write in the db which is not the case currently. This can be done but the potential security issues should be assessed.
It also mean if our frontend is not used to bridge we will have no way of getting user IP

One technicall solution would be to create a new lambda function with database write access, that will be called by frontend when a bridge process succeed. and thus register the user ip
