I have the issue where songs are not sorted by their "Recognition date", and the result is that they keep getting shuffled around every single time I reopen the program.

I could provide any additional information that you might need!!

Not seeing this here on Flatpak or manual compile. They're always in the same order between launches.

What system and installation source are you using?

I'm running Gentoo Linux with the cargo package.

Interesting. The one problem I'm seeing with a local build is artwork isn't published to the dbus notification, while it works from the Flatpak. Do you have Flatpak setup to try?

Other than that, I'm not sure as the same cargo build gives me the song recognition and everything in the same order at least.

I can reproduce the same issue on the flatpak build. The songs' order gets completely reversed and newer songs appear at the bottom after a restart. That only happens after a restart, until the software is restarted they appear as normal (newest song at the top).

Aha! We aren't crazy. The sort is by the date column (by letters...) I just added another song and it completely screwed it up
