[REQUEST] Add Separate "OPEN" Button #33
Comments
Usually if you choose the wrong file, you can just clear the text box and the button will become 'open' again. |
And if you are in windows, you can just drag&drop the PKG as well. |
Good to know. |
The problem is when it came for the android, the android/desktop version share the same UI code, the only changes is how it deal the message box... |
Other point, the initial reason that it was made in a single button, it was because DirectPackageInstatller has been created as a way to install PKG from online urls, in that case, all you need is paste the url in the textbox, the 'open' for local pkgs is a feature that was added later in version 3.3.0 |
I think I had a idea, I might make the "Load" button hidden by default, and once the DPI detects a url has been pasted, the button appear but the 'open' is kept in the side. |
It's annoying that I have to close the app and re-open it if i accidently OPEN the wrong pkg file.
It would be nice if there was an OPEN button that's always visible. (where the arrow is pointing)
And then next to it, a button to LOAD/INSTALL, but that button switches from LOAD -> INSTALL depending on if a pkg has been loaded or a new one was opened.
