The orientation (portrait or landscape) of the first layout generated is then applied to all further layouts in the same QGIS session despite the settings that users choose within the Template Selector.
User’s steps:
• Open a QGIS project.
• Open the Template Selector. Set orientation to ‘landscape’. It generates the print layout successfully to landscape orientation.
• Close the compose.
(Within the Layout Manager a compose layout called ‘unnamed’ is now listed)
• Now return to the Template Selector to create a new print and choose ‘portrait’ orientation.
• The layout is incorrectly generated as landscape.
All further layouts in this QGIS session will only generate as portrait, unless:
• The user goes into the Layout Manager and deletes the ‘unamed’ layout
or
• The QGIS session is closed/project reopened
The same result occurs if the first layout generated within the session is portrait; any further layouts are then also portrait orientation even if the users chooses landscape.
