@luisiam
I'm seeking a way to identify "No Response" for a critical Homekit smart plug as a trigger to create an audio alert for a disabled family member. Power "Off" automation does not help if the smart plug is accidentally removed or the breaker trips, etc. Would this plugin (or the original plugin version "cmdswitch") work? What would the be the state? "No Response" or "unknown", something else?
I have the following smart plugs at my disposal: Wemo, VOCOlinc PM1, and VOCOlinc mini.
Apologies if this is not the proper forum, I'm new to GitHub and will gladly repost the question in the correct location. If you could also provide example code, I would be appreciative. I'm just getting started in HOOBS and coding aspect is still quite challenging for me.
