We have a good benchmark suite for our use cases, so we could play around with PGO (do the same with opencv) to see if we can get any noticeable improvement. Two-phases compilation is not ideal, though.

Also look at LTO.

Wait at least until CF embraces - if it ends up embracing them - newer defaults compilers.
