As per discussion in #lispgames defdict should work with the symbols name instead of the specific symbol in the kit.gl.shader package.

Another improvement would be document the macro in the docstring at least.

This issue is a pretty dated. Is this still relevant and if so, can you elaborate a bit?

@mfiano Idk if it is still relevant, from what I remember the issue was that some symbol in the defdicts, was compared to kit.gl.shader:symbol instead of the symbol name (think loop clauses)

@PuercoPop I'm not understanding the actual problem. Perhaps we can discuss this through other channels when it's convenient.
