Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

The Docker Hub images for lnd lack a tag that identifies the latest stable release suitable for production use. It would be great if this image was tagged accordingly, e.g., with tag "latest".

Describe the solution you'd like
Use a tag like "latest" on the latest image suitable for production use.

Describe alternatives you've considered
None.

Additional context
None.

Hey @plasticpalmarvin , I would like to work on this. Since I have worked on similar things already. Will require some help to understand the release process/pipelines used for newer docker images.

Please review this PR:

  • When a tag is pushed that follows the v* format (e.g., v1.0.0, v2.1.0), it will push a Docker image tagged with both the specific release version and latest
  • When the scheduled cron job triggers the action, the IMAGE_TAG is set to daily-testing-YYYYMMDD and the image will be tagged accordingly.
