  • Mystical Ninja Goemon Zero (USA) (Beta) (2005-08-26)

Won't render correctly in both standalone and LRPS2. There's a hack for the Japanese release, but for whatever reason the pcsx2 team didn't accept this fix to essentially use the same hack for the prototype: Fix Goemon hack for prototype builds

I know it's not unique to Parallel-GS or even LRPS2, but it's a long-standing issue that seems to be ignored for apparently no reason.

We'll see about implementing it.

@ToniBC I tested God of War (PAL), I cannot see any lines in the beginning, not in parallel-gs or GSdx with the Vulkan renderer, it renders just fine. I tried Need For Speed Carbon (PAL), it boots up just fine.

You'll have to check out of it actually works though in tomorrow's core. Just update the cores from within RetroArch to get it.

If you have more of these fixes/commits that have never been accepted in standalone, let me know. I'm open to including these things.

I've removed the posts that listed games as not working which after testing were found to work just fine, just to unclutter the list.

Thanks a lot, that worked!

I've checked again, with the game Need for Speed - Carbon (Europe) (Es,It), the game crashes after the memory card, tried with various bios, normal and quick start, the game crashes, not the emulator, leaving a looping sound. Several users tried it too with the same result.

In God of War (Europe, Australia) (En,Fr,De,Es,It), in GDx (Vulkan) mode the Vertical Lines continue to appear with resolutions higher than 1x. You don't have to use shaders. If the shader is activated (the frs used in the tests or another one), the shader hides part of the defect.
