I was wondering if it is possible to use this on an Apache webserver instead of an nginx one? If so, how can this be done?

Hello, it is possible.

Please read the documentation of apache on how to use WGSI websites.

It is higly recommended to use nginx as it is simplier in this use case and uses less ressources.
