For time being i have updated the link to point to helm chart repo. Parallely i have raised a fix PR to include the helm installation in the installation manual of CoreDNS, once it is merged we can update the link to point to installation manual if required. |
This is a Bug Report
Problem:
On https://kubernetes.io/docs/concepts/cluster-administration/addons/ the "CoreDNS" statement reads "CoreDNS is a flexible, extensible DNS server which can be installed as the in-cluster DNS for pods." but the link to https://github.com/coredns/deployment/tree/master/kubernetes states "These kube-dns/CoreDNS migration scripts and templates are deprecated. For deploying coredns, use the coredns helm chart, or the yaml templates maintained by kubeadm."
Proposed Solution:
Update links to helm chart (I think it's https://github.com/coredns/helm/tree/master) and kubeadm template (no idea where those live).
