Touchpad issue with dual boot #178
Comments
i cant confirm this, i have this exact setup on two different 9550 machines and it works as intended. Do you use a special driver? As i have absolutely no experience with windows machines, i cant help you with this |
Thanks for your answer. |
I can confirm the touchpad becoming non-responsive with a dual-boot (Windows setup). |
I just installed Monterey as the only OS, and I had Touchpad and keyboard issues too. When I was muti booting I had issues but were not often. I restart will fix them. They were random and not often. Nothing to be concerned. |
When running latest Montery as standalone installation everything is fine. When dual booting Win10, touchpad will not be recognized in MacOS after hot reboot.
You need a cold reboot, press F12 and boot Opencore from Bios boot menu for getting it going again.
Must be related to ACPI but didn't manage to figure it out in my own.
