Add auto-save in writing component #25
Comments
Could I work on this? |
Of course. Are you familiar with Swarm, Angular? |
I am not familiar with swarm, but I've used angular before. If there's anything you could give me to help, I would appreciate it. Also I don't really know where your writing component is? |
src/app/text/writer |
Hi @drwm-base , I have added some notes on how to launch swarm for developing in README.md. Feel free to ask if I need to add anything else. |
I am currently working on this @kortatu I have been away for a while. Sorry for the wait. On another note, I have been trying to get WritingSwarm running locally for a while, I keep getting a no peer found error message in swarm when I try to create a new file. The post request on localhost:8500 returns error 500. I don't know if this is helpful information, I'm trying to understand what I'm doing wrong and I am new to Swarm. If there is anything you can tell me I'd really appreciate it. And in terms of your questions at the top, I would suggest that auto-save should be just that. There is no need to save the pre-auto saved version, as if users want to control older versions like that they should not click auto-save. That is the point of it being activated. |
Add a switch to allow the user to enable it.
What happens with original content? Is updated or leave it as it it so we can allow the user to get back to the last not-auto-saved content?
