Please add compatibility up to Android 15 :'c. #669
Comments
I'm confused. You said it stops working on both your devices, even the old one running Android 13. Then how Android 15 is the issue? Also, I need more context. Like app fresh install but already crash when open app, crash after restore backup, fresh install then crash on open entries, restore backup then crash on open restored entries... And log, screenshots. |
The app crashes on Android 13 when restoring the Google cloud backup, but the real issue is that it doesn't work at all on Android 15. Additionally, I already have the WebView system updated, and when I try to download over 2000 manga episodes, the app crashes, even though I still have available RAM and the processor is not overloaded. This situation is frustrating, as I have tried various solutions, such as restarting the device and clearing the cache, but with no success. The lack of compatibility with the latest versions of Android seems to be a recurring problem that affects the user experience. I hope the developers address this issue soon, as many of us rely on this app to enjoy our favorite content. |
It crashes when you're trying to download 2000 chapters? How does that relate to Android 15? |
Describe your suggested feature
I have a device with Android 13; however, I recently acquired a model with Android 15 Pavo 6, and the application has stopped working on both devices since I completed the update to version 13, which operates with Hios 12.6.0. Likewise, the Android 15, which is equipped with Hios 14.9.0, presents the same issue, as the application continuously crashes. Previously, when using a Samsung S11, I did not face these disturbances or errors, which led me to believe that the performance was considerably more stable. It is frustrating that functions that were once reliable have become a source of inconvenience, and I am considering the possibility of reverting to an earlier model where compatibility was not an obstacle.

It's a misunderstanding, really, because in Android 11 I had the ability to download up to 6000 episodes without any issues, and the app wasn't that updated.
