Any way to center a floating window without resizing it?

As the title says :) It's the last thing keeping me from ditching Rectangle. Is it possible with yabai?

This works on Sequoia using macOS's built-in window management feature. Add to your .skhdrc:

alt - c : skhd -k 'ctrl + fn - c'

Oh thanks, that's very neat! The only downside is that it doesn't work on many windows because they don't support that feature it seems.

Here is how you can do it:

yabai -m window --grid 5:5:1:1:3:3

Adjust the values (i.e. 5:5:1:1:3:3) to what you want.

Here is my config within my skhdrc file:

# Float / unfloat window and center on screen
fn - t : yabai -m window --toggle float;\
         yabai -m window --grid 5:5:1:1:3:3
