Releases: kennethjiang/OctoPrint-Slicer
Failed release - OctoPrint didn't grab it
Previously auto-arrange can be slow when you are dealing with a lot of models. Now it's almost instantaneous!
Critical bug fixes!
Sorry I messed up in 0.9.5. If you are running 0.9.5 please upgrade! Otherwise you might end up slicing with the settings inconsistent with the specified slicing profile.
A bunch of bug fixes
Slicer plugin had some non-intuitive behaviors when you changed slicing profile or printer profile. This release puts a lot of such quirkiness out of the way!
Streamlined user experience when slicing multiple STL files at a time
It has been causing quite a bit of confusion among users on how multiple STL files are handled. The latest version has made the flow a lot more streamlined.
Now the slicer will re-arrange STL files automatically every time a new file is added to the bed.
New Icons
Our Slicer had a face-lift with sexy icons!
Support for Slic3r
Thanks to huge contribution from @eyal0, now you can slice with Slic3r. Once you install the Slic3r plugin by following the instructions here, you will see Slic3r appear along side in the dropdown select alongside with our old friend Cura.
Included in this major release are also the features to slice multiple STL files to make it 1 G-code file, as well as auto-arrange (experimental).
Happy slicing!
Slice multiple STLs at a time!
Thanks to huge contribution from @eyal0, now you can add multiple STL files to slicer plugin, and slice them into 1 gcode.
We also provide a "auto arrange" button if you want slicer plugin to optimize the layout of multiple STLs. It's still an experimental feature. As always if you run into issues please open an issue here
