안드로이드 build.gradle 부분에 apply plugin 방식과 id 방식의 차이가 있나요 ?

이렇게 안드로이드 새 프로젝트로 열면 id 방식을 쓰고있는데 이유를 알려줄수있나요

문법만 바뀌었고 기능상 똑같습니다
