Describe the bug
I do the Ctrl-Shift P and 'CircuitPython: Open Serial Monitor", it looks to connect, but nothing is displayed. I open a terminal using ctrl ~, but that just opens another terminal using bash or zsh or other thiings.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Go to 'CircuitPython: Open Serial Monitor'
Click on 'USB Device /dev/ttyACM0 for me'
X appears on the bottom row of Vscode, but no data.
Expected behavior
I am thinking it should show me a REPL with the ability to interface with the device.
Desktop (please complete the following information):
OS: Ubuntu
Version 22.04
