<p>The study is based on 4 participants answering 3 surveys. Each participant answered one
survey on their demographics information, the second survey inquired about their user
experience on the Yankee Candle website, and the third survey asked about Goose Creek Candles
website. The candle website questionnaires used Likert scales. The demographics survey
included questions on gender, age, and computer usage.
The four surveys were conducted virtually. The researcher emailed the copies of the
instructions, the demographics survey, and two usability surveys.</p>

<p>The oldest participant was a 38 year old female, and the youngest
participant was a 26 year old male (See Table 1 below). Each participant owned a computer
and had high-speed internet access.

<p>My participants included four adults with graduate degrees (3 held PhDs, 1 completed a
Master's). As professional researchers and students, the four participants surveyed used
the computer daily (See Table 2 below). The participants also connected to the Internet
daily. Even though all four participants frequently bought items online, none purchased
candles online. </p>
