Repro steps

  1. Create a definition, setting Output file to include "$Version" in the text
  2. Place this file in a directory which is not under source control
  3. Using UI, export the file

Result

Suggested file is the output file from the definition replaced by emptyness.

This looks strange in the common case where there was a space before version. So the file will be saved with a stray space

Expected

Not a stray space. Possible alternatives:

  • Trim the file name, straight up removing the stray space
  • Add the app version in its place

Notes

This definitely affects UI, and probably affects CLI as well.
