Hi! yeah, I developed this under rxjs version 2, and I imagine lots of things have changed :D if you're up for some sleuthing, this file is where the rxjs monkeypatching happens. if you can find what things have changed location, that will get us part way there

It would be nice to support multiple versions of RxJS in parallel.
@amb-it-ion Did you manage to investigate this, if so how far did you get? I'm up for pitching in on an rx5 branch.

Unfortunately not - I didn't get further than realising that the global
namespace is gone, that currently gets checked.
