Cannot apply layout on Kubuntu 24.10 #56

3l is apparently installed by default on my version, but it doesn't appear to work, on a basically-new Kubuntu 24.10 install. Pressing 'Preview' shows the following error:

The manual method in the README also doesn't work, with a similar error.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Hi, good question. It seems KDE is using FCITX which is overriding both X and GNOME settings.
I was able to switch by right clicking the Input Method icon in the tray, hitting Configure, and then selecting it from the list. (See attached screenshot.)
