The steps for getting doom emacs to work is actually quite simple:
It may fail with the install and sync step, simply rerunning the command fixed it for me. Note that the files in Generally, have patience. As long as it doesn't crash, iSH is working for you. |

I just want to show this off. It actually starts up. It's the slowest god damn experience I've ever had in a program, but I managed to get doom emacs to work inside iSH.
I have tried getting neovim (0.8.+) working, but I get stuck compiling for several hours (6+ hours) and iSH doesn't work well with ncurses (tends to hard crash).
Maybe doomemacs is a bit overkill and regular emacs would actually enable a functional software development experience in iSH.
Surprisingly, tmux works quite well and is actually very snappy!
This project is so close to be able to technically support software development. This is seriously impressive!
