My file:

environment:
    WEB_CONCURRENCY: 4

$forklift  -- env | grep WEB_CONCURRENCY
WEB_CONCURRENCY=4
$ forklift --environment ENVIRONMENT=test -- env | grep ENVIRONMENT
ENVIRONMENT=test
forklift --environment ENVIRONMENT=test -- env | grep WEB_CONCURRENCY
