First off: I don't know wether this functionality is in the plugins scope. If not, please tell me.
When I'm watching a series with the up next plugin, I often set a specific audio track. When the video files are dubbed, I might want to watch it with the original audio, other programs I watch with the dubbed track. In its current state, kodi always uses the default language regardless of the opened file. My proposal: Add language keeping to up next. When a user sets the current audio track to "eng", set the next files track to "eng" as well (if it exists).

It could be done, but it is problematic to do this on the fly with the way that UpNext currently works, and it is also not straightforward to match language/codes correctly and deal with default audio streams or hearing/vision impaired audio streams.
There is a Language Preference Manager addon that may help you achieve what you want in a more roundabout manner.
