Have trouble geting object

When trying to get the object from a .e file size of over 120Mb (with obj=NicoletFile('filename.e'); , it failed and showed "out of memory". Is there any way that can get the partial obj so that the present RAM could work out the partial result?
(Measures have taken: increased the memory from 4G to 12G, it still shows"out of memory". I'm worried that 32G memory would not be enough as the biggest .e file provided by the hospital is up to 300Mb)
