Shape & Desktop Selection for the volume renderer

In my computer science honours year at the University of Cape Town my teammates and I created some selection methods for iDaVIE-v to test whether virtual reality created an optimal space for sub-selection of the data cubes compared to a desktop environment. I intend to integrate two of these methods, one being a shape selection, the other a desktop selection.
