i'd say its normal. you checked "use battery at night, even if not fully charged". so i guess you never reached "battery start threshold" (55V), until yesterday. now, as your battery is considered "charged up", DPL uses it as long as it doesn't reach the stop value (44V). at leasts that what i would expect from the system. |

HI!
I have a question to my setup and I'm not sure if this is the expected behavior.
Until yesterday I would say it was different:
So my setup is as following:
I'm using 2s2p PV panels on a SmartSolar MPPT 150|35
which is connected to a LTO Battery and a Hoymiles 800.
I have DPL enabled and usually in the night the battery gets completely empty (until the voltage drops to the limit)
Then on the next day the system tries to feed the power from the panels into my appartment and charges the battery if there is more power than needed.
In the evening (when the night time is reached) it starts feeding from the battery to my appartment again.
That is until now the expected behavior.
Yesterday the battery got really really full so it was possible to feed power into the appartment the whole night without hitting the low voltage limit of the DPL. So the pv panels started producing energy.
Now the whole day whenever there was more energy needed than the pv produced the battery got drained.
So I was wondering because I thought when the time reaches the daylight time (Morgendämmerung) the draining of the battery should stop and only start after the night time (Abenddämmerung) was reached.
Am I correct or did I understand something wrong?
I have attached a log from DPL as well as my config and the some screens of my HA.
