Cannot GET /?

I ran the start_server.js file using the terminal through the electron app path and the js file path, it managed to send the address, however instead of the controller ui, only the text "Cannot GET /" appears. I don't know how I could've caused it to happen unless there's some kind of problem in the code or the installation process, I'm unfamiliar with Node.js and Electron though and just want this thing to work, can anyone help? I already tried assigning #1, #2, #3, and #4 to the end of the address to no avail.
