Enhancements pending from Repeated BlockItems PR Review

Problem

In order to unblock the rest of the team, we decided to handle the following PR Review comments on a future PR.

Solution

Implement the following improvements:

• 1. refactor: Stream of repeated block items instead of block items #269 (comment)

• 3. refactor: Stream of repeated block items instead of block items #269 (comment)
• 4. refactor: Stream of repeated block items instead of block items #269 (comment)
• 5. refactor: Stream of repeated block items instead of block items #269 (comment)
  - The LOGGER API java.utils that we are using does not allow those methods.
• 6. refactor: Stream of repeated block items instead of block items #269 (comment)
  - This should not be addressed here, since we are about to deprecate BlockAsDirWriter implementation of favor of BlockAsFileWriter so I suggest that is done as part of this ticket: feat: new BlockWriter implementation for block-as-file #281
