Problem description

Over the next six months, Capitols Coalition plans to use the Guardian to align disclosures with the EU Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) and the European Single Electronic Format (ESEF). Capitals Coalition will enable Guardian users, including enterprise reporting applications, to input climate data in the XBRL format, ensuring alignment with CSRD’s European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) and enabling the CSRD limited assurance requirements in sustainability reporting to be met.

Requirements

Work together with Capitals Coalition to create a Guardian policy in alignment with CSRD’s European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS).

Definition of done

An ESRS Guardian policy is created and published that will allow users to comply with the imminent EU GHG disclosure regulations.

Acceptance criteria

  • The policy is in alignment with CSRD’s European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS)
  • The Policy needs to be exportable in XBRL format.
