Still not sure whether to go with CSS background image or if we can conditionally output a custom partial on the homepage.

I'd prefer to go the partial route since it will make it easier when we get around to making the site responsive, and will also give us the flexiblity to turn the image area into a slideshow etc, if we ever decide we want to.

Course if it's hard, css is awfully quick... XD
