How did you get pattern_detect.py to work?

TypeError: Argument 'open' has incorrect type (expected numpy.ndarray, got Series)

I think you have to use

num = ta.CDLMORNINGSTAR(data.Open.values,data.High.values,data.Low.values,data.Close.values)
