FYI... grails/grails-common-build#8 includes the following:

This will be done before the migration to Apache.

@jamesfredley Do you have any concerns with the software grant application being submitted before grails/grails-common-build#8 is closed?

@jeffscottbrown @jamesfredley grails/grails-gsp#562 removes the common build usage. @matrei I know you're working on test apps to ensure we didnt' break gsp. What are your thoughts on going ahead and merging and adding those tests later?

@jeffscottbrown I do not have concerns with submitting the software grant now. Worst case we complete those last few right before ASF moves the repos, best case sooner.
