Aligning multiple mediation adapters with Play Services Ads version

What is the recommended strategy for aligning Play Services Ads version with third party adapters' versions (e.g. Applovin, Mintegral, Pangle etc.)?

In the changelog, I can see for example that Applovin 13.0.1.0 has been tested with Play Services Ads 23.4.0.
On the other hand, Pangle 6.4.0.5 has been tested against Play Services Ads 23.6.0
Similar case with Unity, Mintegral, Vungle etc.

Am I safe to use the newest Play Services Ads 23.6.0 with those adapters even if they haven't been tested against this newest version? Or should I stick to the highest (but I bit older version) Play Services Ads version supported by all the adapters?
