I came to this URL because I had the idea of creating the exact same thing :p

It seems that you're overcomplicating it a lot. Could almost be a 1-file project.

I was trying to get a better frontend with React and stuff.

The intention was to make it suitable for serving home media with default index.

Older version has simpler structure but less appealing.
