FAQ | 📱 Applications & extensions
Station currently supports more than 400 apps & extensions. You can access the exhaustive list inside Station or here.
To add an application just follow these 3 steps:
- Click on the "+" icon on the bottom-left corner of the screen to open the app-store.
- In the app-store, search for your app either by sifting through the categories or by typing its name.
- Once you've find your app, click on the "+" icon near its name and voilà! It will directly populate your dock on the left. You can drag and drop it up or down as you wish.
If you have a web-app that's missing, you can easily request it from within Station. We’ll implement requests by popularity order every month & you’ll be notified with an in-app tooltip after each new release.
Just bear in mind that only web-apps are supported: mobile or desktop apps aren't. The rule of thumb is: if you can't access it from your computer's browser, it won't be integrated to Station.
In Station, clicking on a link to an app that is supported but not added yet, will trigger a prompt asking you if you wish to add the concerned app to your Station or not.
This gives you more control over your workflow as you can choose which apps to use in Station, and which ones in your browser.

At Station, our sole purpose is to ease your workday.
We want to offer a 10x superior experience when it comes to getting work done. To achieve this, we need focus & determination as we can't build a delightful product if our resources are scattered.
That's precisely why we don't support non-work related applications such as newspapers, streaming platforms, etc. We understand that refusing to add some heavily used apps might create a bit of frustration, but we do not aim to entirely replace the web browser.
Station is and will always be a distraction free, highly efficient work platform designed to maximise your focus and productivity 😊
Now go on & build something great!
Because they're technically hard to implement, we currently support only a handful amount of extensions:
- MixMax
- Clearbit
- Gmelius
- MailTracker
- Boomerang
To use any of them, just add it from the app-store and refresh Gmail by double clicking on its icon. If it's still not working, restarting your Station should do the job.

We're going to improve this specific design element in the next release as quite a few users seem dissatisfied with it.
