  • PTHR ID & PTN node:

GO:0031505 | fungal-type cell wall organization | IBA with S000002362 , PTN002924557

  • Sequences with problematic annotation (ID + gene/protein name):

https://www.pombase.org/gene/SPAC24B11.1

  • Type of Issue: Erroneous source or erroneous propagation, or other issue

According to SGD description, this acts upstream of the cell wall integrity pathway,
quote"Protein that functions in the cell wall integrity pathway; functions upstream of Pkc1p;"

so the
fungal-type cell wall organization (IMP)

is a phenotype. I am proposing positive regulation of
positive regulation of cell integrity MAPK cascade (GO:1903139)
but if this is not adopted there should be no propagation (not enough info and I'll continue to class as unknown)

  • Add the label 'high priority' if needed. Generally high priority issues affect a lot of proteins, and annotations are incorrect (as opposed to just imprecise).

positive regulation of cell integrity MAPK cascade (GO:1903139) might be too specific because the cell wall integrity signalling is highly branched. But we don't appear to have a more general term.
I might leave this without annotation for now,
