Why don't you use the init and define that, create resources out of it and loop thought the in/outputs ?

I'm open to suggestions but am not clear on what you are thinking should be done here. Can you give some more details?

Why do you use concat, it makes it more complex I think.

For the first time in a long time I have some time to work on modules... are you game to give me a little bit more of an idea as to how you were thinking of simplifying things? I think your idea is worth exploring as the current setup certainly has some challenges.
