I would contribute to developing this implementation example. We have several real-world examples from our data repositories, including the KNB and NSF Arctic Data Center that I could draw from.

Many (DataCite) repositories have additional (semantic) tools at their disposal than would many of the other implementation examples (e.g., journal references that are traditionally semantic free). In other words, specifying a "citation" in a data repository might look like a plain textual list of "references" to related software but it could also repurpose relatedIdentifier fields to provide a different sort of citation event. Is this relevant in others' views?
