I haven't really looked at it but this seems like a similar project that you might be able to draw from.

It seems to be an extension to the vimtutor tutorial. Features-wise, it mostly adds some extra syntax to that in vimtutor's.

The tutorial itself is interesting, though. I'll contact the creator to see if we can convert it to vim-tutor-mode's format.
