We had to pull Last general election and General election fields from election profile pages (fecgov/fec-cms#2267) when we discovered data issues. To enable these fields, we need to make changes to /election-dates/:

  • Search for presidential elections with state=us so we can find historical/future elections (right now we have to specify a state.
  • Add senate class to election-dates so we can show 6-year dates for senate
  • be able to find 2020/2022 election dates
