Temporary solution: some phones allows light to dark mode live conversion for apps. It isn't perfect, but that's better than nothing. Check your Dark Mode tab in the settings!

You can now get the app on Google Play with the latest updates.

The version from Google Play Store supports dark theme out of the box on my Redmi device, thank you!
The problem with theming still occurs on app downloaded via IzzyOnDroid though. App has not been updated there yet.
