Contributing Related

I think it would be wise to create some guidelines for contributing and setup some more automation and systems.

I also think the following could be useful:

• Using conventional commits (would make generating changelogs much easier)
• Better PR templates
• Better issue templates
• Code owners
• Branch protections
• Automatic labeling of PRs
  • automatically mark as stale
• Better, more systematic labels
• Use projects

I made it so issues and prs gets labeled stale after 30 days of inactivity, after which, if there is no further activity in 14 days it gets closed.

Regarding this, since eza v0.10.3 we've been doing this consistently.

• Branch protections

I've added some more branch protections:

• Require a pull request before merging
  • Require approvals (currently set to 1)
  • Dismiss stale pull request approvals when new commits are pushed
  • Require review from Code Owners
• Require status checks to pass before merging
  • Require branches to be up to date before merging
  • Require status checks (macos-latest all versions, ubuntu-latest all versions)
