Hi,
I am using the latest version of JComments 3.0.7.7.1 [29/04/2021] and in the permissions I have set that comments can only be written by registered users and I also use ReCaptcha.
I checked and unregistered users can't see the comment form at all.
Yet every day I have more than 20 comments from unregistered users. How can this be solved

You meant Guest or Public?

I don't know the difference between guests and public. Generally, only registered users are allowed to write comments, and they are not

I found the reason for the spam message, but I don't know how to solve the problem.
Namely, my site is multilingual and I use the Phalang component. As I said in the permissions it is set that only registered users can comment.
In my basic language (Bosnian) the comment form is not displayed to unregistered users, but in another language (English) it is displayed, so all the spam comes from that part of the site.
How can I set permissions on the English section?

How can I set permissions on the English section?

Try to switch backend language into English and setup permissions in jcomments settings. Because in component database all settings have a language code.

I tried to change the backend language but it didn't work. However I did this directly in the database through phpmyadmin and it worked. Thank you very much for your help
