Only PDF's are visible in media gallery #45

I've just installed the latest version of this plugin and I ran into an issue where only uploaded PDF files are visible in my media gallery:

When I log onto the server and go into the folder of the server there is a .docx file present that doesn't show:

I haven't changed any config settings, just a clean install of the plugin.

I can't even see the PDF's. Do I need to change something?
